Someday, I will own this house. In fact, this picture (courtesy of Google Maps) doesn’t do this home justice. It has been completely restored and is probably worth its weight in gold. Add the amazing view, and you have my dream home. A fully rehabilitated Victorian home atop Mount Washington. I would run everyday at the dawn of the morning and in the summers, I would sit on my second-floor deck drinking coffee everyday. Yes. That will be my life after I go back to school to become a doctor and practice some obscure type of medicine that I get paid $5,000/hour for after I win the lottery.
Mt. Washington is hilly along Grandview, but I tackled it and even ran down and up PJ McArdle Roadway. Of course, running down PJ McArdle is pretty easy (7:00/mi) but you turn around and realize you have a nice steep slope to ascend. I ran up it at a 10:00/mile pace stopping for a few seconds here and there because, well, it’s tough. I was done with 4.5 miles by 7:00 AM and was not happier.
Running Mt. Washington. My new favorite running spot. (shhh!) In fact, I passed no other runners (bizzare) but a few early morning tourists snapping pictures.
I have always been one to go against the grain, so to speak. One thing I would like to include in this blog in the future is a feature on fun clicks. I think I will work to build that as well as my running professionals section because a lady has got to have balance right?
So a few things I have been in love with lately include…

Dutch by Design Bath Caddy. For the work nights you need a book and wine to wash off the stress of the day. As if your schedule allows that!

Ora Kiley canisters are perfect to add a pop of color in your kitchen, bathroom, guest room, turning your beige walls into… well… they will still be beige, but you won’t mind as much

Tiffany Necklace. I love the simplicity of this piece, though I anticipate nice presence on the neck… I wouldn’t mind finding a vintage or handcrafted piece instead of the Tiffany one, though

I love love love this outfit for a formal work environment. The cardigan will take you through fall, as will the dress. Most people can use a blazer and belt they already have. I just think its an ultra chic way to play on the traditional suit dress. Your work wardrobe will thank you!
Puffer bird cups. These are a perfect dainty addition to your kitchen. Whip em out when making all of your fall confections, or to impress guests with your well equipped and stylish kitchen!
