Yesterday I cut my six mile run short due to (1)  tightness in my quad and (2) the rain made it much colder than anticipated

I started to fear for my Garmins life because just brushing the water off was not going to do much.  I did take advantage of the extra time in the morning and clean up around the house, do some abs, etc. 

Though I did start the day with a blended smoothie, which filled me up till past noon. 

After a few hours, Jared and I went to my second-counsins 2nd birthday party.

We came home around 7-8, which was enough time to catch-up on blogs, relax and watch the Suze Orman Show.  I will write a blog post about her show/financial advice sometime in the future.  Its not a “get rich quick” type deal, its a “get financially smart” type deal.  Anyways, I will save that for later. 

 

For Sunday (oh weekends, where do you go?), Jared’s got homework, we’ve got some cleaning, and I’ve got about four pounds of apples to do something with. 

I don’t know yet if I have it in me to run again in the rain, but according to the forecast, I should be getting used to it.  Boo. 

 

I really enjoy Sundays as rest days perhaps just taking the dog on a long walk or allowing myself to rest.  Which is what I think I will do today =)
