Snow is good for doing
A cost-effective at-home workout. I tend to shy away from workout dvd’s, but these have left me feeling refreshed. Sorry, but I do not run in 18 inches of snow
Yes, I admit, I watch it. I can’t help it. Especially now that one of the housewives have apparently gotten evicted and another is short-selling their house. Their lives are so different than mine. It’s trashy TV. Luckily, there was a mini-marathon on Saturday. Perfect…?
Enjoying a refreshing smoothie of spinach, carrot juice, and frozen mixed berries (from Costco) despite it being 12 degrees outside. I should also mention that I added a nice dollop of greek yogurt to add to the creaminess of the blend.
And finally, snow is a good opportunity to make a “comfort” meal of chicken curry and naan (more on the naan below). Into the curry I put a whole onion, a bag of spinach, curry paste, yogurt, tomatoes, and a bag of spinach. It was delish.
On Sunday, Jared and I ventured out. I wanted to put gas in my car because I was scared that the lines were going to freeze. I was also getting annoyed because why couldn’t it snow like this during the work week and I wanted to “get out” for a few hours.
Where else do two people go that are addicted to Costco? Yup. We needed a few “Costco only” items and made the trip out to Robinson. The city roads were horrible, but the municipal roads were pretty good. The Parkway made me scared for the drive to work because there were patches that hadn’t been hit. And a lot of seemingly abandoned cars.
We came home quickly and continued to “nest” the rest of Sunday.
More snow on the way!

I am so glad I am not in the Burg right now! Although we’re suppose to get slammed here and i`ll be back in the burg on friday… snow great lol Although I can’t wait to go shopping in Robinson!
I can’t believe you ventured out! Our only venturing out was shoveling!
